🎬 Special Screenings & Exhibitions
TCM Classic Film Festival: In April 2025, the festival will feature a special 50th-anniversary screening of Jaws, marking the first theatrical presentation of the year.
Nationwide Re-release: From August 29 to September 4, 2025, Jaws will return to theaters across the country, allowing fans to experience the classic on the big screen once again.
Academy Museum Exhibition: Starting September 14, 2025, the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles will host "Jaws: The Exhibition," showcasing over 200 original artifacts, including the only surviving shark model from the film.
📺 Documentaries & Home Releases
"Jaws @ 50" Documentary: Directed by Laurent Bouzereau, this National Geographic documentary delves into the making of Jaws and its cultural impact. It will premiere at the Martha’s Vineyard Performing Arts Center on June 20, 2025, and be included in the 50th Anniversary home release.
50th Anniversary Home Edition: Available on June 17, 2025, this release features over five hours of bonus content, including deleted scenes, making-of featurettes, and the new documentary. It will be available in 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, Digital, and a limited edition SteelBook.
🎉 Festivals & Themed Events
JAWSFest at Mystic Seaport Museum: On July 5, 2025, Mystic, Connecticut, will host a day-long festival featuring shark-themed activities, educational talks on shark conservation, sea shanties, and an outdoor screening of Jaws.
Alamo Drafthouse Celebrations: Throughout the summer, Alamo Drafthouse theaters nationwide will host Jaws Movie Parties with themed menus and props. Special "Jaws on the Water" screenings will take place at Lake Travis in Austin, Texas, in June and July.

Amity Homecoming Weekend: From June 20 to 22, 2025, Martha’s Vineyard will celebrate with events including a private meet-and-greet with Jeffrey Voorhees (Alex Kintner), the unveiling of a restored ORCA boat, and various fan activities.

Universal Studios: Both Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood will commemorate the anniversary with exclusive merchandise, themed food and drinks, and special entertainment offerings starting in May 2025.
